258. Speakeasy Superstar at Speakeasy

Think you have the vocals to be the next Mariah Carey or Frank Sinatra? Now is your chance to flex your pipes and possibly win big.

This “American Idol” style singing competition is judged by the “applause-o-meter” and a panel of music industry professionals, so bring your best vocals forward. And the best part is that it’s live-band karaoke, so you have a chance to test your skills with a real band helping you out!

The folks at Speakeasy know their music, and they feature some of the best and most fun live acts in town each week. A personal favorite of mine is a Motown tribute group named Sauce. They’re incredible. Their next appearance at Speakeasy is the 25th of this month. Back to my point, Speakeasy knows good music. And on top of that, they have an awesome venue. The rooftop patio is always a blast.

Back to the contest — these are still the preliminary rounds where contestants will compete to qualify for the finals. The Speakeasy Superstar will be decided on November 17th.
