200. Free Kids Camp: “The Nightmare Before Christmas” at Alamo Drafthouse

July 19, 2010

How about a little Christmas in July? I’m writing about this because “The Nightmare Before Christmas” is hands down one of my favorite movies of all time. Despite the name though, this has always struck me as more of a Halloween movie than a Christmas one.

During the summer, they have a free kids camp series where they show FREE kids movies! Admittance is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so come early to make sure you get a seat.

If you haven’t checked out the Alamo Drafthouse, it’s hands down a must-do in Austin, Texas. This is a great time and a cheap way to introduce your kids to this Austin Tradition. All locations are jam-packed with cool events. The free kids camp goes on all summer, so keep an eye out for your favorite family flick. Luckily, this is a way to stay indoors and stay cool during the dog days of summer.

When: Monday, July 19th – Thursday, July 22nd.

Time: 11 a.m.

No children under three.

Location:
Alamo Drafthouse Village
2700 W. Anderson Lane
Austin, Texas
