111. Earth Day Festival at The Triangle

April 21, 2010

What are great day for an Earth Day Festival. The Free Festival in the Triangle Park has all the makings of a Earthly Evening.

They will have booths set up with more than 100 artists and vendors full of earth-friendly, sustainable wares. This will give you an opportunity to explore and evaluate your own impact on Plant Earth. They will also have live music and live music makes any festival worth going to.

The Band Line-Up:

4:00 – 4:30 Vermeers — Allan Gil
4:45 – 5:15 Raised by Pandas
5:30 – 6:00 Rich Restaino & The Obits
6:15 – 6:45 Havilah Tower
7:00 – 7:30 Belaharr

Following the bands, the Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow will screen Plant Earth “From Pole to Pole.” Not sure how many of you are familiar with the “Planet Earth” series but it is an absolutely fantastic look at nature, it is just memorizing.

This is a great event for both kids and adults to understand and experience how we can work to have positive impact on the Earth and help to Keep Austin Green.

Time: 4:00-8:00pm

The Triangle
400 Guadalupe Street
Austin, Texas
