8. See A Movie At The IMAX Theater at The Bob Bullock Museum

February 4, 2010

It still is a great day to be a Longhorn despite the heartbreaking loss last night.

I figured with the freezing weather in Central Texas right now and the fact that Avatar is playing it would be a perfect time to go see a movie at the IMAX. If Avatar is everything that it is cracked up to be seeing in 3D at the IMAX would be a great way to take it all in.

There is something about seeing a movie at the IMAX that is just phenomenal. In December, I would recommend seeing The Polar Express in 3D, it’s fun for someone of any age.

The IMAX Theater is located inside the Bob Bullock Texas History Meseum at 1801 Congress Ave across from the University of Texas downtown.

Tickets range from $8 – $12 with a two dollar service charge if you buy online. Everytime I have been it is packed so if you aregoing to get your tickets at the theater get there early!
